A suspicion is not yet a fact
You notice something - a remark, a look, a vanished vanilla pudding - and carry it around for days. The observation turns into a suspicion, the suspicion into a certainty, without a single new fact arriving. Noticer turns that around: the observation moves out of your head and into your phone, with a date on it. And once you find out how it really was, you attach that as an annotation - whether it clears the suspicion up or confirms it. What you end up with is not a gut feeling but a note with a history.

Stays on your phone
No backend, no cloud sync, no telemetry, no account. The app opens no network connection at all in order to process your data. What leaves the device is your decision - through the share dialog when exporting. I never get a copy of it.
Small on purpose
No folders, no tags, no reminders, no links between notes. A list, a note, its annotations, a search. If you want to run a second brain, this is the wrong app - if you want to get an observation off your chest and resolve it later, it is the right one.
